I bought my friend Kelly a Boppy Newborn Lounger Pillow for the latest addition to her family, and she and little Mia love it.
A cushy lightweight pillow that is soft against the skin, it provides the perfect place for baby’s to kick back in and relax.
The first thing you will notice about the pillow is how easy and convenient it is to use.
When it arrives, all you will have to do is open the package, and you can begin using it, with no assembly required.
Find a suitable spot, then place your baby on it, with his or her head resting on the raised side.
While sturdy, the Lounger is very light. An attached carry handle makes moving it to another spot in the house or out to the car easy, even when you are carrying your baby.
In this Boppy Newborn Lounger Pillow review, we will look at an overview, its specs, and recommended usage. I will also include its pros and cons, to help you decide if it’s something you want to buy.

Fabric – Made of soft and durable polyester, the fabric used in the manufacture of the Boppy Newborn Lounger Pillow meets the flammability requirements of the California Bureau of Home Furnishings. Its cover and filling are free of lead and chemical retardant.
Fabric care – The fabric can be spot cleaned, or the entire Lounger can be machine washed. There’s also the option of buying a 100% cotton slipcover which comes in a number of attractive colors and patterns.

The Boppy Lounger is designed to use while the baby is awake, but it’s fine for them to nap in it if they are supervised. 
A recessed interior enables babies to snuggle their bottom into the pillow while keeping their head and upper body in a supportive slightly reclined position.
This position allows them to breathe freely, and because their head is elevated, they are less prone to acid reflux. It also enables them to see what is going on around them, so they are visually stimulated.
Moving the Lounger from room to room is a breeze, with only one hand required. It goes without saying that you should first remove your baby.
The Lounger can be used when you are relaxing, playing, snapping a photo to send to grandma and grandpa, or just hanging out with your little one.
Its easy-care fabric makes cleaning a breeze. Spot clean or machine-wash it, then air dry it.

Final Thoughts on the Boppy Newborn Lounger Pillow
I highly recommend the Boppy Lounger Pillow to anyone with a newborn. Kelly says it is the most useful baby shower gift they received. She 
loves it, and seeing how happy and relaxed Mia is when she’s lounging on it, we know she does too.
She’s still using it at five months of age but has almost outgrown it. It’s in excellent condition, so Kelly will be storing it to use if she has another baby.
If you aren’t planning on having more kids, and you have a little furkid, this would make the perfect bed for them.
The Lounger is inexpensive, easy to clean, easy to transport and it enables mom and dad to play with their little one without always having to hold them.
The only negative I can see is that it doesn’t have a removable cover. A cover would save you having to wash the entire thing if your baby has an accident while lounging on the pillow. Had I known they were available when I purchased the Lounger, I’d have bought one. Kelly hasn’t bothered, as she said it is easy enough to clean and quick to dry.
